It is ideal for businesses needing to qualify staff to the level of Appointed Persons to take responsibility for a first aid emergency and the first aid box in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. This course is also recommended for staff in larger organisations giving support to First Aiders.

Students are continually assessed throughout the course, those who complete the course and reach the required standard are issued with a First Aid certificate as considered appropriate for Appointed Persons in the workplace which is valid for three years.
